This April, One Mind Dharma turns five. What started as a recovery blog called The Easier Softer Way in April 2011 has now become the blog, shop, guided meditations, and more known as One Mind Dharma. We are so grateful for all of the support we have received over the years from our family, friends, and of course the subscribers, readers, and community. In celebration of our five year anniversary, we have a few offerings for you this month.

Monthlong Meditation Challenge

We are happy to offer another monthlong meditation challenge this April. Those who participate will receive a guided meditation every day throughout the month, progressing through the basics of Buddhist meditation. We will cover mindfulness, concentration, metta, compassion, and more. If you have joined us before, this time we will be doing things a little differently. We will alternate between a day of insight (concentration, mindfulness) practice and days of heart (metta, compassion) practices. All meditations will be 20-30 minutes long. If you are new to meditation, don’t be scared! Or do, but learn to notice the feelings that arise! You can do it; this is a great way to develop a meditation practice and investigate new practices and methods. The monthlong meditation challenge is donation-based, so all may join regardless of finances! This time, we will also be posting the meditations in our Facebook group. To join us, either join the email list below, or join the OMD Facebook group.

Practice for Two

One Mind Dharma is SUPER excited to be offering our Practice for Two online course again! This course aims to help you investigate mindfulness, compassion, metta, and meditation in your relationships. We do this ourselves (Elizabeth and Matthew), and find it incredibly useful. After the first iteration of Practice for Two, we received some wonderful feedback from those that loved and benefitted from the practices, and from those that had some suggestions. We have improved the practices, and encourage you to give it a shot. The practices come once a week, and take about 30 minutes (which don’t need to be done all at once). You may participate with a significant other, a family member, a friend, or anyone you see fit. These Practices for Two come via email, and you may join below. As with the Monthlong Meditation Challenge, this is offered purely by donation. The first email will be sent on Sunday, April 3rd, and the course lasts six weeks.

Half-Price Memberships

Members of One Mind Dharma receive a guided meditation every weekday to their emails. Meditations are sent year-round, not just during meditation challenges. Meditations cover a variety of Buddhist meditation practices, and range from 10-20 minutes. In addition, members receive a discount in the store. For the month of April, you may join for half the monthly price! Find out more by visiting our Membership Page during the month of April!

$5 Bracelets, $15 Malas

As a thank you for all of the support we have been given, we are offering a bunch of malas and bracelets at a large discount. We will have a whole section in our shop of bracelets costing $5.00, and full malas costing $15.00. These malas are of the exact same quality as the rest of our malas, and are not on sale due to any defect! We make all of our malas by hand in Los Angeles, source from wholesome distributors, and never use anything with dye or additives. The sale will start on April 1st and run until all pieces are sold. Check back in as we will be adding more products throughout the month! Just visit the One Mind Shop and look around, or go directly to our SALE PAGE on April 1st.

Please consider joining the One Mind Dharma newsletter. We send no more than one email a month with updates, coupons, sales, offerings, and more! We greatly appreciate all of your support, and look forward to many more years working with you all!
