The engaged mindfulness class offers a way to take your meditation practice off the cushion. So often we think of meditation as a formal sitting practice. However, the practices of mindfulness and meditation can permeate all parts of our lives. This class will help bridge the gap between our sitting practice and the rest of life.
The class will include dyads, partner exercises, walking meditation, and more. The format will change a bit each week depending on the engaged practice that is offered. Generally, there will be a 15-20 minute guided meditation, followed by an introduction to the engaged practice, one or more engaged exercises, and discussion about the practice.
Suite 29a, the door to our suite is located on the outside of the building to the right.
This class is donation based.
