Each individual chapter contains instructions to take you through from start to finish.

The book is broken up into three main sections:

Basic Mindfulness Exercises

This section contains basic mindfulness exercises and introductions to practices. It includes techniques to build concentration, cultivate loving-kindness, and begin to investigate mindfulness in your personal experience.

Everday Mindfulness

These are practices and techniques to bring mindfulness to your everyday life. From washing the dishes to driving, you will find ways to be present during your day.

About the Author

Matthew Sockolov is the founding teacher of One Mind Dharma. Introduced to meditation as a teenager, he has dedicated himself to mindfulness, meditation, and the study of Buddhist principles every since. He works with recovering addicts, adolescents, and anyone who joins the community to practice. He trained as a Buddhist meditation teacher at Spirit Rock Meditation center, and now works one-on-one with individuals wishing to deepen their practice.
