Today we are going to work with a practice outlined in the Satipatthana Sutta, the Buddha’s words on establishing mindfulness. This is the practice of tuning into the impermanent nature of the body through investigating the decomposition of the body. It is quite unusual, so don’t hesitate to bring some awareness to any mental or physical responses you are having to the practice. This is an important practice, as impermanence is one of the Three Marks of Existence.
